Nick & Scott

Nick Alvis and Scott Price worked for Gordon Ramsay for fifteen years in London, Paris and Dubai, before leaving to launch their own restaurant in 2011. Over the next two years they won a string of awards and accolades. They then worked together to create the Taste Kitchen brand.

Hamouda Torman

Head Chef

With a culinary career spanning 14 years, Torman Hamouda started out as chef de partie, before joining Gates Hospitality as junior sous chef at Oman’s Six Senses Zighy Bay. In 2017 he joined the folly by Nick & Scott team as sous chef where he trained alongside Nick & Scott for 3 years before he was promoted into his first head chef role at Verve Bar & Brasserie in 2018. He then re-joined the folly by Nick & Scott team in 2021.

Raven Rudolph

Bar Manager

South African-born Raven is an experienced bartender and mixologist who worked at GQ Bar and Karma Café in Dubai before joining Folly in 2016. He played a key role in developing Folly’s creative drinks menu and while he’ll pour you a pitch-perfect classic cocktail every time, he’s in his element when experimenting with different flavours and new concepts.
